As most of you will know, on May 7th the Reliconline servers will be going down, and the Company of Heroes multiplayer will be handled via steamworks servers. Naturally this is relevant to OMG being a primarily multiplayer mod. While it will still be technically possible to play on the old version via hamachi and other LAN virtualisation programs, I would recommend for the sake of segmentation that everyone switch over to the new steam version. Fret not! it is a relatively painless process, and the new version actually runs significantly faster. So Here's a quick run down:

1. Select “Activate a Product On Steam” from the “Games” menu
2. Enter your Company of Heroes CD-Key in the resulting menu
3. Repeat for the Opposing Fronts and Tales of Valor expansion packs

4. This will add a new entry into your steam library, Company of Heroes (new steam version):

5. OF and ToV will show up as DLC under the properties tab of the game:

So that's Company of heroes set up, now onto OMG! As I previously mentioned here, it is already compatible with the new version:
http://www.omgmod.org/index.php?topic=11498

Installation is pretty straight forward, you simply need to have OMG in your new company of heroes directory, which should be something like this:

Program Files/Steam/Steamapps/common/Company of Heroes Relaunch

to save yourself some time, you can drag both the Updater and the OMGmod folder from your old COH directory into the new one.

!!Remember to right click the launcher> select 'set folder', find your relaunch folder and restart(!) the updater. This will validate your existing files and download anything missing automatically!!:

> last thing - you need to make sure your OMG profile name matches your ingame steam username. You have 2 options for this, you can either change your steam username to match your profile, or you can PM me your steam username and I can change it for you.

Happy hunting, any queries you can post here

If you had logged in to the OLD CoH and gone to the account page it would have showed you all of your keys on your account.  Now I do not think yu can access that anymore.

However, if you still have CoH installed the keys are located in your registry.

There are a few people around who probably have multiple copies of CoH anyway that they got from a steam sale, etc too I bet.

I might have a key floating around somewhere... not sure which version of the game though.
Actually I have my physical copies and a Steam version from a Humble Bundle... I might be of some assistance.

That's because of the account verification when it connects to our server. Do you have no way of adding an exception? It would also help to submit to Norton as a false positive if you are able to

It should be fairly easy to email Norton about this. I emailed mcaffee years ago when they blocked OMG and they resolved it very quickly.

I was able to tell Norton to leave it alone and restore the file. I believe I have it working now.
