Foy is a village in Belgium, near Bastogne.

History
In World War II, Foy was occupied by German forces during the Battle of the Bulge. The American 101st Airborne Division held the Bois Jacques just outside of town during the battle. After being relieved by Patton's Third Army, it fell to the 101st to take the town. The assault was spearheaded by Easy Company, 2nd Battalion, 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment of the 101st Airborne Division, was depicted in the Band of Brothers mini-series. A fictional simulation of this can be played in the computer game Call of Duty: United Offensive.
Map Description
The map is designed around what was seen in the Band of Brothers mini-series, most notably the fields and church area. Other parts were designed by study of the game Call of Duty: United Offensive, most notably the bridge area north of the town.

Tactics & Tips
- In an attack/defend engagement, it would be best to do a slow approach into the town while clearing out the houses.
- In an meeting engagement, it would be best to try and secure a foothold in the town ASAP.
- There is much room for maneuvers and tactical assaults, utilize the buildings to your best advantage.
