Okay, so I've been working on a fix, and I think I've got it working now. Unfortunately you need to manually download the attached file and extract it in the folder where your updater is placed!

Any problems, let me now!

The UK mirror should be up-to-date too, so...

Yes, the updater still directs to omgmod.org  This changes the direction of the updater to point to the .org site.

host file should only change access to omgmod.org, so unless you want to visit the squatter site it shouldn't be a problem

You could undo the hosts fix, but, well, you'll probably not need to ever visit the omgmod.org site again!? Just a crappy "click my link and make money for me" site now!

BUT, shouldn't change anything, the new updater should be downloaded and that should fix any issues.

The new launcher seems to not launch the game for some people.

I didn't try it myself, as I was impatient and loaded it personally, and then it suddenly told me that CoH is already running, but someone else said it wouldn't start after a half minute.
No confirmation on that, and no replay either.

Could you guys please be a bit more specific? Didn't work means? Errors? Didn't update?

I was in the process of implementing a few new things, so it has been done a bit rushed and I might have forgotten to disable part of the new code. Anyway, I had a game last night, and none of the other 5 guys I played with had any problems.

About not launching? Maybe he has disabled "auto run" ?? Right click and there it is...

Using the US mirror initially gave me an error that stated something to the effect

Error: "=" not expected, expected ...

and then got cut off by the width of the bar.  I have a feeling it's whatever it's pointing toward that's causing it.

It is, when it's the old updater, it will try getting the manifest from omgmod.org, and that will of course not work! If you have download the new version (the attached file) with the new updater and the new mirrors file, you shouldn't get that error.

When you start the updater, which version is it?
