How do we hide these giant doctrines in these bushes? (June Update)

We have a massive update for you all this month!

It includes a large balance and bug fixing patch along with, of course, the complete set of tier 1 doctrines! This long awaited content includes 72 doctrinal unlocks, 6 per doctrine in the game.

You can access the doctrine purchase area within the "war room" and it displays the cost in VPs of each ability along with a brief description. You simply click "purchase" to buy the ability, and once done you will have it for the rest of the war. More detailed documentation of what each of the doctrine abilities do will be released within the near future and will be updated with every future update.

As usual the war has been reset along with the momentum meter.

Balance and bug fix notes:

Americans

• M36 Jackson - Unit transferred from regular usage to reward units, replacing the Easy 8
• Chaffee reward unit should now have working veterancy
• Chafee now gets Greyhound vet
• Combat Engineers - Unit removed from the game
• Ambush Riflemen - Availability pool reduced to 8
• Mechanized Infantry
• AT Package removed
• AI package (incl. 2x Thompson SMGs) comes standard on the platform
• Aura reworked from 100% suppression to 50% suppression resistance
• New Price: 240 MP / 100 MU / 5 Pop
• Mechanized infantry half track deployment should now work

British

• Rifle Grenade smoke ability cooldown raised from 30 to 90 seconds
• Flame stuart can now purchase tank commander

Wehrmacht

• Nebelwerfer - Manpower price increased by 50
• Geschutzwagon - Population reduced to 8
• Sturmpioneer - Availability pool reduced to 8
• Terror Officer Abilities (should be working now on a shared cooldown timer)
• <Inspired assault > - "Buff": Friendly unit targeted gain 0.8 cooldown and 0.6 received suppression
• <Propaganda> - "Nerf": Enemy unit targeted gains 1.2 cooldown and 1.4 received suppression

Panzer Elite

• Strumpanzer IV barrage abilities cooldown increased from 60 to 75 seconds
• Animation on flame Hotchkiss fixed
• Ostfront Veterans - Availability pool reduced to 6
• G43 Upgrade
• Slow split from the G43 upgrade. G43s without slow are now priced at 60 MU
• G43s + Slow price set at 75 MU

Bug Fixes

• Blitz Officer Bombing Run icon no longer covers up GWagon Rapid Fire icon when garrisoned
• Fixed the flame animation on the hotchkiss.
• Chafee and Brit reward units can actually maintain vet
• Gave command Churchill manual retreat button.
• Chafee has M8 vet instead of staghound vet now.
• Redundant button upgrade removed from Bren MG carrier in war CP.
• Stuart recon can now purchase tank smoke.

RSE

Mechanized Escorts

Emplacement trucks now have are faster, more maneuverable, and have more health.

I need drugs NOW!

Medic station healing cooldown is noticeably reduced.

Behaving Like Officers

Tanks with tank commanders now gain experience at an increased rate.

Churchills may also buy tank commander.

Speaking from the pulpit

Cromwell Command Tanks gain an ability which allows them to command both armor and infantry for short time.

Hulldown

British Armor gains the Hulldown Ability which makes them immobile but harder to kill.

Now this is a big sodding gun

Sappers may now buy Riflenades, Bren Guns, and Boys AT rifles.

RCA

Rifled Barrels
25 Pounders and Priests and supercharged mortars have tighter groupings and are more accurate.

Cancer Causing
All British Mortars are granted Smoke Barrage.


General Hospital
CCSs now provide a Lt aura buff that is active at all times.

Ross Rifles
Recon sections have slightly more rifle range.

High Velocity Ammo
Stuarts’ and Staghounds’ main cannon can fire farther.

Toolboxes
Bren carrier and MMG move faster while self repair is active and can use it slightly more often.

Commandos

Release the Hounds

Bren Gun Carriers gain an ability which increases LoS and stealth detection by a noticeable amount.

Packing Heat
Lts and Captains can buy Commando Grenades, Brens, Boys AT, and PIATs.

QRF (Quick Reaction Force)
Any platoon that is purely Commando units arrives quicker when deployed on foot.

Glider Support Unlocked
Armor and Infantry Gliders are now available for use.

Priority Targets

Lts and Captains gain an ability which tracks selected enemies through the Fog of War.

Radio Disruption
Offmap ability which severely lowers LoS of all the squads within a circle for a short time.

Armor

A Tool for Every Job

All Sherman variations can purchase either the Mine Flail or Bulldozer.

Specialized Optics

Tank Destroyers have greater sight range.

Quadruple Bypass

Quads can purchase AP Rounds.

Morningstar

Mine Crab Flail gives more health.

Pineapple Express

Jeeps can purchase Smoke Grenades and Pineapple Grenades.

Field Mechanics

Engineers can purchase the Field Mechanics upgrade which improves their repair from Normal to Advance.

Inf

Second Wind

Fireup and Sprint cooldown timers are noticeably reduced.

Close and Spray, the SMG Way!

Riflemen can exchange their M1 Garands for M3 Greaseguns for free.

Setting up the Field

Riflemen and Ambush Riflemen can build barbed wire and sandbags.

HVAP Shells

57mm AP Rounds upgraded to 17 Pounder AP Rounds.

Got a Light?

60mm Mortar can purchase M83 Flare Rounds which reveal areas in the Fog of War.

Medical Emergency

-Medics now sprint when moving even while carrying wounded.

Air

Prepared LZ
Airborne and Pathfinders can Build Sandbags and Barbed Wire

Baseball Toss
Pathfinders and Airborne throw Grenades and Satchels slightly farther.

Big Boom
Airborne Squads can also buy a second Satchel or Grenade.

Weighted Packs
All pure Airborne platoons deploy faster and have decreased scatter.

Support Teams
MG, Mortar and Sniper teams now come with Parachutes for Air Deployment for a small fee.

Recon Run
Recon run offmap ability unlocked for purchase.

Blitz

Deterrants
All Coax and Hull MGs gain slightly more vertical and horizontal range and are more accurate against groups.

Dynamic Cover
All medium armor may purchase Tank Smoke.

Organized Platoons
Platoons that consist of either pure Volks or pure Grens have their callin timers reduced.

Assault
Assault available for purchase on Volks, Stormtroopers, Grenadiers, and KCH.

Panzerkrieg
Regular Half-tracks come with the Overdrive ability.


Artillery Observation
Designate an area on the map for a flare which reveals an area in the Fog of War.

Def

Advanced Warning
Grens, Volks, KCH, and Pios have longer LoS.

Karbines
Grenadier Elite Rifles can be equipped on support weapons or Pioneers for a small cost.


Heavy Support
Mortars, MGs, and PaK have more resupply per game. They also have higher health on the weapon and crew.

Stuka Barrages
Unlocks Incindiary Barrage and Smoke Barrage on the Walking Stuka.


Sighted Weapons
All infantry inside bunkers gain extra accuracy every minute they are garrisoned. Caps after 3 minutes.

Entrenchment
Sandbags, Wire, Tank Traps build quicker and have more health.

Ter

Experienced Sergeants
Infantry take slightly less suppression

Snap Shooting
Snipers prepare to fire faster and and have faster cooldown.

Hunter Killers
Pioneers and Strumpioneers can buy Volks Rifles for free.

Perfectionism
Pioneers And Sturmpioneers may purchase Perfectionism upgrade which repairs slower, but with less wear and tear.


Tracer Rounds
MG42s grant a non-stackable bonus to units the MG is firing on.



Fog of War
Offmap ability which lowers LoS and Stealth Detection of all the squads within a circle for a short time.

Tank
Faustpatrone
 
Infantry may purchase Panzerfausts.

Fully Aware
The Funkwagon gains Tank Awareness and has slightly longer LoS.

APCR Ammunition
 
Mardars, Hetzers, and Panthers may purchase APCR rounds upgrade.
 
Defilade
While vehicles are in cover they receive slightly less damage.

Doubled Firepower
Squads with AT grenades now throw two grenades at their target.
Tankbusters may purchase a second Panzerschreck

Getting Mobile
Marder/LATHT, Hetzer, Nashorn, Jagdpanther have faster acceleration and deceleration. They also exit lockdown much faster.

SE

Burning Bombardment

Burning Bombardment Offmap Artillery is unlocked for purchase.
3 Incindiary Shells strike an area you designate.

Increased Payloads

Hummels’ and Mortar Half-Tracks’ barrages fire additional shells.

Steady Aim

Suppressive Volley Fire on G43s can be used while garrisoned in buildings and the slow effect  lasts slightly longer.

The Hand That Destroys

Incendiary Grenades now burn slightly longer.

A Warm Welcome

All infantry may now buy building booby traps.

Immovable Objects

All Infantry may now build roadblocks and barbed wire

Luft

Stuka Terror Dive

Stuka Terror Dive Offmap available for purchase. Suppresses infantry in an area you select.

Hunting Rifles

Fallshirmjaegers and Luftwaffe Ground Forces can purchase G43s.

LMG Support

Luftwaffe Ground Forces can purchase the MG34 upgrade.

Sure, We'll Hide This... Half-track

Medic Half-Tracks now cloak when when they are healing.

Shift the Lines

Luftwaffe Ground Forces and Fallshirmjaegers gain the Spring ability.

A Valued Cargo

Flak 88 and Flakvierling Opel Blitz now has Half-track armor.
