So hey, over the past year or so, I've been occasionally, which means, very rarely, working on a Map for this very mod.
I have those side projects from time to time, like back when I worked on a Warcraft 3 mod for several years, and then probably no one ever saw it. I used it for a few applications, but my prior assessment still stands.  ;)

This map is rather experimental, with stuff like layering bridges and subterranean path blockers, and I don't necessarily expect it to be a fun map, but I'd like to test how the mentioned ideas work out, if they work at all.

Here's the problem: I can't get the bloody map to run in game, it just doesn't appear.
I know the solution is probably easy, but I still fail at doing it.
So, would there be anyone that could take the file and turn it into a playable package in regular CoH? I'd upload it if I find any volunteers.
It's been done in 1.71 Editor, I started before the fix for the newest version came out.

Tl;dr:

I need a map from 1.71 Editor packaged so that it runs in CoH 2.6x;
Any volunteers?

Thx in Advance.

are you sure its been exported properly to work in the game? have you verified it works in your 1.71 version? i don't think the map format has changed that much.

remember archive tree should go [archive]scenario/mp/etc... not [archive]data/scenario/mp/etc..., so check that first in corsix

Actually, I'm not even sure if that's possible, Unlimited. Obviously 1.71 map editor is the unbroken one, but I don't know if it will appear in-game, even when compiled properly...

Are you exporting it as a .sga in Corsix or just exporting to .sgb from Worldbuilder?

There's a whole slew of complicated file-directory-swapping-shit that Relic pulled specifically in order to *** mapmakers when the expansions came out.

I even fail at getting it to work in 1.71.
The game's a bit borked, mainly, no way to change that without reinstalling everything.
I'm pretty certain a few maps of old EiR were originally built in the old Map Editor, so that should be possible, after all.
