Veteran Unit Award. 1
-Given out for having the highest experienced unit at the end of a war.

I think maybe there should be one for Highest Axis unit and Highest Allied unit, as it is usually axis super duper heavys that sit at the top of the leader board all war?

Question about the TH award unit:
Why? TH already got the Hetzer and the Jagdpanther as good tank killers with strong frontal armor and no turret. Also Nashorn (no armor, but fixed gun).
Not that I'm complaining... well, I am kind of. Just wanted to hear the resaons behind the decision. In my not so very important opinion, a Wehrmacht-like Halftrack would have been golden (IHT with Wehrmacht-HT armor).

And what happened to the Easy 8? Amor get s as reward a unit it already has in the roster?

But a really great idea with the reward units!

The stug for the TH has faster turret rotation than most of the turretless tanks in that doctrine. In addition, it has MG34 by default and increased penetration. Fuel-wise it's the same as a hetzer and cheaper than the other heavies. So basically it's a tank-hunter style tank which is on steroids and can dodge circle-strafing easier. So you can think of it as an achievable addition to the doctrine which can help you fight M10's  :D

Easy 8 is not going to be in the roster anymore

But again, I didn't want to bitch. Just a little. And then maybe some.

Easy 8 is not going to be in the roster anymore
It is all starting to make sense now!

Oh btw: Is there any info on vet, resupply and max. pool of the reward units?

You get one.  You loose it its gone forever. Vet will be similar to an equivalent unit, eg, volksstrum will probably get something like grenadier vet.

Won't just having 1 unit promote vet hoarding, or award timid play?
Having 1 reward unit per war with a low resupply to me would be a better idea. Players would be less likely to make 5 minute appearances with their units then pull them off for fear of losing it. Vet hunting will be crazy.

Just my thoughts...

I agree with Apparition. Having it only once is kind of a waste imo. You put in the effort just to see some award unit walk on a mine in the first 10 minutes of the first game of a war and be gone?
Also massive vethunt and pussy-style play. Some of the units are somewhat suicidal in their use (Flammen Hotchkiss for instance). You won't have them for more than a game. I am all for a low resupply and low max. pool (1 for vehicles/support weapons, 2 for infantry?).

They're rewards. Use them carefully.

I can see that work for some of the units (e.g. Command Churchill), but light vehicles usuallz don't last long (especially with flame throwers).

Again, they're rewards. They are not supposed to be a permanent unit of your company. Make them last.
