I agree with Khorney.

Maybe the stats for your own units. Such as the actual health of tanks after many repairs so you can gauge the number of pack shots you can take. But that is the only real benefit I see for use in a game.

I would be very much against putting MarcusVision into standard play, optional or not.  The element of surprise is a huge factor in OMG, and reading your opponents troops (much like your own) is a skill to be honed over your career with the game.   Newbies have lots of support systems in place to help them along, and knowledgeable shoutcasters can help teach what they don't pick up from other players.
